MUSE 2017

MUSE 2017

"Great things happen when people come together"

MEDITECH’s annual International MUSE (Medical Users Software Exchange) Conference is happening May 30 – June 2 in Dallas, Texas. At MUSE 2017 you’ll find education focused on today’s most pressing MEDITECH topics, the newest products and services in the exhibit hall and unparalleled networking opportunities around every turn. MUSE strives to offer education and networking that attendees cannot access anywhere else, including current hot topics presented by your peers.

Nerdy Work

This year, Galen is debuting a new project we’ve been working on. It began as an education session on the MEDITECH 6.x Rules but quickly turned into a concentrated collaboration between Galen and a Focus Group of nine MEDITECH hospitals looking to fill gaps in clinical workflow. We called our effort NerdyWork. The input from our Focus Group allowed us to develop Project Claire[IT] which is a deliverable package of complex rules, assessments, CDS’s, and workflows that addresses industry needs.

Join us on June 1st at 1pm in Grapevine 3, Galen Healthcare MEDITECH Principal Consultant, Kelly Del Gaudio, and Focus Group member and IT Clinical Analyst, Cathy Alvarez, of Uvalde Memorial Hospital, will be presenting on Claire[IT] and NerdyWork.

We will take a look at some of our calculations and scoring assessments including the TPN Ordering Worksheet; discuss how to use our solution for provider education and how that effects end user adoption, system satisfaction and your bottom line; Learn about future plans, our product roadmap and how they can contribute to the rules revolution.
