Las Vegas will gain the “Power to Connect, Learn and Innovate” August 9-11th when the Allscripts Client Experience (ACE 2016) comes to town!

ACE is an annual user conference attended by thousands of Allscripts clients and industry leaders.  Attendees have access to valuable educational sessions, networking and experience sharing.  They also have the opportunity to hear from inspiring keynote speakers.  This year Kathleen Sebelius, former Health and Human Services Secretary, will be the opening address speaker.  She’ll be discussing healthcare’s present and future, as well as hosting a Q&A session. The Keynote Speaker with be Ronan Tynan, Irish tenor, recording artist, physician, and champion disabled athlete. Faced with numerous challenges throughout his well-documented life, he moves audiences like few others can.

Galen will be featuring three products at ACE 2016. Our eCalcs^TM which are health calculators seamlessly integrated with Allscripts TouchWorks^TM. Designed as a separate tab in the user workspace, eCalcs pulls relevant data from a patient’s chart such as demographics, results, and vitals directly into the calculator. This eliminates the need for clinicians to utilize external tools.

We’ll also be featuring VitalCenter^TM, our business continuity solution. Clinicians can electronically document a visit within VitalCenter even during EHR or network downtime. Notes are stored in VitalCenter and automatically pushed into the EHR once downtime has ended.

Additionally, we’ll be featuring our newest solution, VitalCenter Online – Archival.  VCO offers access to data across virtually any legacy EHR source system, without requiring any system specific training. It is easily accessible through a single sign-on and custom domain settings.  VCO stores clinical and PM data, while also satisfying legal data retention requirements at the federal and state level.
