Galen is Best in KLAS!! Thank You to Our Clients!
Since its inception in 2005, Galen has enjoyed incredibly positive relationships with its clients. Certainly, there are a number of factors that contributed to this positivity. We have always endeavored to “do the right thing” by our people and our customers. We have never taken ourselves terribly seriously but have taken great pride in the quality of our work and the success of our partners. As a result of our experiences, Galen has become a fantastic place to work and a great partner to work with, as confirmed by Modern Healthcare and #1 ranking in KLAS.
The beauty of KLAS lies in its brutal honesty. Organizations can’t buy their way to the top. It is, quite simply, a rating of how good of a job we did in the eyes of the people who hired us to do it. Exposing one’s self to the candor represented in the KLAS ranking process is nerve wracking, no question, but the feedback provides a roadmap for us to follow to improve. To be ranked #1 in multiple categories is both, validating and humbling, for an organization like ours. We have heard loudly and clearly that we are doing it the right way. With that in mind, however, it is critical that we continue to evolve as an organization to be what our clients need tomorrow, not yesterday. Complacency is not an option for us. Pride, it is said, comes before the fall.
Without question, we owe a great many people a huge “thank you” in helping us achieve our new rating: Galeneers, both past and present, mentors and partners, and obviously, the loved ones of our people, whose personal sacrifices often allowed our folks to go above and beyond.
When the announcement was made that we were #1, my mind drifted back to the relationships that made it a reality: thousands of engagements across hundreds of clients, not businesses doing business with other businesses, rather people working together, arm in arm, often until the wee hours of the morning. Failure was never an option, and I’m proud to say that, together with the folks we fought the fight with, we have kept it almost completely at bay.
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to have been in Leadership roles with this company openly marvel at the number of unsolicited positive comments we get about the job our folks have done. Whether it be at a trade event like HIMSS, email, or a phone call, the good news has been frequent and profoundly appreciated. I think it is incredibly important for us here at Galen to be mindful that it is you, the ones we’ve jumped into the fray with all of these years, to whom we owe thanks. We don’t exist without you, and shame on us if we ever forget that.
Thank You from all of us.
